Mariner, Lorraine
Lorraine Mariner was born in Essex in 1974 and works at the Poetry Library, Southbank Centre, London. In 2007 her poem ‘Thursday’ was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Individual Poem. Her first collection Furniture was published by Picador in 2009 and shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection and the Seamus Heaney Centre Poetry Prize. Her latest collection is There Will Be No More Nonsense (Picador, 2014).
