Words for the festive season

Join us for an evening of poetry, nature writing and music celebrating the publication of two new festive titles: Christmas Walk: Twelve Poems for Rosy Cheeks and The Winter Hedge: Walks in a Deep Lane by celebrated naturalist Miriam Darlington.

Our online event will feature readings from Christmas Walk by poets from across the UK and beyond – all winners in Candlestick’s recent competition. There’ll also be a reading from The Winter Hedge by Miriam Darlington.

Christmas Walk readers include Annie Kissack, Aoife Mannix, Bill Adair, Charlotte Oliver, Giles Watson, Jane Burn, Kerry Darbishire, Marie-Louise Eyres, Martyn Crucefix, Miriam Wei Wei Lo, Penny Sharman and Valerie Bence.
