• Elliot, Alistair

    Alistair Elliot (b. 1932) is a poet and translator who studied Classics and Philosophy at Oxford. His translation of Euripides’ Medea was performed in theatres in London and New York in a production with Diana Rigg in the leading rôle. His most recent poetry collection is Telling the Stones (Shoestring, 2017). For much of his life he worked as a librarian.
