Christmas Movies: A Double Bill of Festive Poems
We take great pride in our pamphlet covers, many of which are specially commissioned from contemporary artists and printmakers. Linocuts and woodcuts work particularly well with their lovely clear lines and bold strokes.
Our Christmas Movies title has a cover created by Melissa Lhoirit. Melissa sent us this little film to demonstrate how she made the image, starting with a rectangle of lino. It’s rather like magic to watch as the image emerges from the block and reappears on the page…
