Jason Allen-Paisant

Jason Allen-Paisant is a Jamaican poet, scholar and writer now based in the UK. His work explores the experiences of Afro-diasporic writers and communities. His collection Self-Portrait as Othello (Carcanet, 2023) won both the Forward and TS Eliot Prizes. He is Professor of Critical Theory and Creative Writing at Manchester University.
