George Marion McClellan

George Marion McClellan (1860 – 1934) was an African American writer. He was born in Tennessee and went on to become a congregationalist minister and a schoolteacher. His first collection Poems was published in 1895. Much of his prose fiction appears in Old Greenbottom Inn and Other Stories (1906) and focuses on life in rural Alabama.
