John Kett

John Kett (1917 – 2010) was a schoolteacher who was also a well-known Norfolk dialect poet. His books – which include Tha’s a Rum’un Tew (Baron Publishing, 1973) and Watcher Bor (Wensum Books, 1979) – have sold more than 20,000 copies. After the death of his wife, he also wrote a collection in her memory in standard English called A Late Lark Singing.
