Stanley Cook

Stanley Cook (1922 – 1991) was a British poet who never achieved the widespread recognition that many feel his work deserves. He was born in South Yorkshire, gained a scholarship to Oxford University and for much of his life worked as a schoolteacher. A Selected Poems was published by the Poetry Business in 2014.
