Nichols, Grace

Grace Nichols (b1950) was born and raised in Guyana, and moved to the UK in the 1970s. She is well-known as a poet writing for both adults and children. Her children’s collections include Everybody Got A Gift (2005) while her adult collections include The Fat Black Woman’s Poems (1984) and the recent I Have Crossed an Ocean: Selected Poems (2010).
