Clarke, Gillian

Gillian Clarke (b1937) was born in Wales, where she lives and works. As well as publishing plays, prose, and books for children, including translations from the Welsh of traditional stories, she is the author of several poetry collections, including Letter from a Far Country (1982) and A Recipe for Water (2009). She teaches at the University of Glamorgan.
