• Hartnett, Michael

    Michael Hartnett (1941–1999) is one of Ireland’s best-loved poets. His first collection, Anatomy of a Cliché, was published while he was still in his twenties. He wrote in both Irish and English and also translated a number of medieval Irish poets into English. He won numerous awards, including the Irish Poetry Prize, a Poetry Ireland Choice Award and the American Ireland Fund Award. His Collected Poems are published by The Gallery Press.
