Young, Francis Brett
Francis Brett Young (1884-1954) was a novelist, poet and playwright, born in Worcestershire. He wrote a series of linked novels, known as ’The Mercian Novels’, set in the West Midlands and Welsh borders, which included Portrait of Clare in 1927. He worked as a General Practitioner.
