    Burnside, John

    John Burnside (b1955) is a poet and a prolific prose writer. His first collection of poems, The Hoop, was published in 1988 and in 2012 his collection Black Cat Bone won both the T. S. Eliot Prize and Forward Prize. He teaches at the University of St Andrews.
